Due to a huge increase in work, our client, a leading manufacturer in sheet-metalwork, Fabrication & Powder Coating, are looking to recruit experienced fabricators/sheet metal workers to work at their manufacturing facility in Widnes.
The main duties include:
- Light – medium fabrication
- Manufacturing directly from engineering drawings
- Marking, prepping and cutting prefabricated parts for welding
- MIG weld to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean workspace at all times
- Any other associated duties
Essential criteria:
- Time served – Qualified to City & Guilds Parts 1,2 & 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent NVQ)
- Working knowledge of sheet metal
- Own hand tools
- Full clean driving licence
The working hours are 0730 - 1630 Monday to Thursday & 0730 - 1200 on a Friday.
This role is subject to permanent position after a successful qualifying period. An immediate start is available after successful interview.
