The Best Connection are currently hiring for an Financial Office Assistant on a permanent basis for a company who are committed to revolutionising the energy sector by providing simplified, innovative solutions for businesses. This position will be based in Castle Eden.

The Role:

  • Financial Operations;  Maintaining purchase ledger, Sales ledger inputs into the accounting software, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Validating paperwork
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the office supervising and managing office staff, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and efficiently
  • Data entry, scheduling appointments and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence 
  • Responding to customers and suppliers via telephone and email. Ensuring high levels of customer service is maintained throughout all the team when communicating with clients and suppliers
  • Effectively managing Financial Administration duties
  • Manage and implement  human resource functions including recruitment and on-boarding of new employees
  • Oversee and assist with office management including procurement, supplied and office organisation 

The Candidate:

  • Previous Finance/ Administration background 
  • Proven Customer Service experience 
  • Experience within HR would be an advantage 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; engaging conversations and influence with clients via telephone interactions.
  • Familiarity with general office procedures and human resources practices.

Salary:

  • £30,000- £35,000 per annum 

Hours of work:

  • This role is working either a minimum of 30 hours per week,
