Goods In operative - Wolverhampton - £12.80 per hour

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative on behalf of our well-established logistics client based in Wolverhampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, growing team offering consistent day shifts and long-term work!

Shift Times:

🕕 06:00 - 14:00 (Monday to Friday)

💰 Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour

Key Duties:

• Goods In Operative - Key Duties

  • Receiving and booking in deliveries accurately using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Operating FLT Reach safely to unload and move stock
  • Carrying out goods-in inspections, checking quantities and quality against delivery notes
  • Logging and updating stock movements within the WMS system
  • Storing goods in designated warehouse locations in line with company procedures
  • Picking stock as required to support operational demands
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies
  • Ensuring all goods are handled in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments
  • Keeping the goods-in area clean, organised, and safe at all time

Requirements:

✅ Valid Reach FLT Licence (in date)

✅ Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred

✅ Good attention to detail and reliability

✅ Ability to work as part of a team
