LGV Cat C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driver

The Best Connection is looking for experienced 7.5 Tonne drivers for their client based in Milton Keynes. The desired candidate must be local and live within the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.

For this HGV C1 role, you will be responsible for delivering household items in and around the midlands area. You will be responsible for operating a 7.5T vehicle, including loading/offloading all products with a porter. This job will include multi-drop to customers houses. You will be responsible for securing and strapping down your load and ensuring that you are always following health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or defects.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• A Full Valid UK Licence with Category C1
• A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Must have at least a year of HGV C1 driving experience.
• Must have previous multi drop driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the UK roads
• Clear and concise communication skills

Schedule:
AM: Monday – Saturday - 06:00-17:00
PM: Monday – Thursday - 10:30-21:30 / Friday - 10am-9pm / Saturday - 7am-6pm
