LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver

The Best Connection is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a variety of clients based in Milton Keynes. The desired candidate must be local and live within the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.

You must hold a valid LGV C+E, HGV 1, Class 1 UK licence with no more than 6 points, a UK digital tachograph card & a full DQC (CPC card).

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• A Full Valid UK Licence with Category C+E
• A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Must have at least a year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Good knowledge of the UK roads
• Clear and concise communication skills
