Our client, a reputable company based in Rhymney, is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Trampers with walking floor experience to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving: Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, including those with walking floors.
- Tramping: Perform overnight trips as required, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues to ensure vehicle safety.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Proven experience with walking floor trailers
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle long-distance driving
Benefits:
- Competitive Pay: £15.00 per hour
- Night Out Allowance: £25 per night
