The Best Connection achieves Employer Provider status

The Best Connection, which provides flexible workforce solutions to the driving, industrial and warehousing & distribution markets, has become an Employer Provider to deliver apprentice training programmes.
The recruitment business has run an apprenticeship programme since 2017 and now offers training in business administration, recruitment and customer service. As an Employer Provider, The Best Connection can tailor and deliver a flexible apprenticeship programme to address the specific needs of its staff and the business.
“Apprenticeships have been an important and very successful part of our employee nurturing approach. Becoming an Employer Provider allows us to utilise the in-house training expertise we have developed over many years at The Best Connection to deliver training that is aligned with our company values and culture. It is an investment for us that prepares apprentices for a long and successful career at The Best Connection,” said Neil Yoke, Director, The Best Connection.
To ensure high standards are met and maintained the business has an assigned relationship manager from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and is overseen by a governance board comprised of directors of The Best Connection, compliance and training managers and an external consultant. This also ensures continuous improvement can be maintained.
“There is a robust application process that needs to be undertaken in order to achieve Employer Provider status which requires that we have everything in place to deliver a high-quality apprenticeship programme to our own staff.
“An apprenticeship at The Best Connection gives people joining the company’s scheme the opportunity to learn and develop business essential skills whilst gaining valuable work experience,” added Yorke.
As part of the National Apprenticeships Week 2022 (7-13 February), The Best Connection has launched a Directors’ Apprentice of the Year initiative which celebrates the achievements of its apprentices and awards the accolade from nominations submitted by its 85-branch network.
