As a Warehouse Operative at a major logistics and distribution centre, you'll play a key role in supporting efficient material flow across the supply chain. This includes receiving inbound goods, managing inventory, preparing components or products for dispatch, and maintaining high operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Goods In:
  • Unload inbound deliveries using MHE (manual handling equipment) or pallet trucks
  • Check goods against delivery notes and report discrepancies
  • Record items into warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Order Fulfilment / Picking & Packing:
  • Pick components or items accurately using pick lists or handheld devices
  • Pack items securely and label correctly for onward delivery
  • Prepare pallets or containers for dispatch, ensuring compliance with standards
• Loading & Dispatch:
  • Load outbound shipments onto vehicles using forklifts or other MHE
  • Ensure correct paperwork and tracking procedures are followed
• General Warehouse Duties:
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
  • Follow health & safety protocols at all times
