Van Driver Cat B

The Best connection Walsall are recruiting for a van driver/ driver technician for one of our established clients in the Stafford area!

This role requires an enhanced DBS check.

Experience: Driving: 3 years (required)

Hours/Shifts: 42.5 hours per week, 5 out of 6 (no Sundays)

As a service technician/ fitter, your role will involve much more that driving from A to B.

You will be involved in the delivery, fitting, demonstrating, repairing, and collecting of health-related living aids. This will include community hospital beds, to help the service user to remain in their own homes for longer. Delivering a life enhancing service where you will see the benefits to people’s everyday lives.

There is a particular focus on safety, empathy, respect, teamwork, and excellence in all that we do.

The role:

· Delivering, repairing, collecting, and installing healthcare equipment in the service user’s home.

· The fitting of Mopstick type banister stair rails and other specialist’s items to diverse types of wall structures.

· Demonstrating the equipment to the service user.

· Loading and offloading of equipment on your company vehicle.

The successful candidate will:

· Have held a full UK driving license for a minimum of three years.

· Deliver a service with empathy and care.

· Work well independently and as part of a team, as well as having excellent communication skills.

· Be flexible with working hours/days, to suit the needs of the business.

· Participate in an emergency on call rota, following full training in the role.
