Sales And Customer Relations Coordinator

Our client, based in Dordon, immediately requires a Sales Coordinator. Temp position of 12 weeks minimum covering long term sickness. Duties include liaising with clients from governing bodies/contractors and specifiers in regards to their queries/orders/delivery times etc. No cold calling.


The Role:

  • Contributing towards company targets by way of meeting and/or exceeding set sales targets as an individual and contributing to the teams.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success by developing positive relationships with customers. Act as a consultative partner to anticipate customers’ current and future needs to generate orders.
  • Following up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.
  • Ensuring accounts are constantly aware of active promotions available, following up and generating new business through own initiative, social media and marketing activity to increase sales.
  • Resolving conflicts, taking ownership and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Managing a dedicated Area Sales Managers diary; ensuring customers are visited on a regular basis.
  • Using internal tools and systems, to manage the day to day running of your data, ensure systems are maintained and updated at all times.
  • Liaising with other departments including Transport, Accounts, Marketing, Laboratory and Production.
  • Creating KPI and tracker reports as required by business.
  • Undertaking duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.
  • Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for personal growth in order to promote products with greater understanding and confidence

Qualifications / Experience required

  • Proven experience of working in a customer sales partnering role and able to demonstrate results
  • Previously gained sales experience within a similar industry
  • Ability to deliver excellent consultative advice to improve the customer experience and their business to generate sales
  • Understanding of sales performance and ability to work to targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building skills.
  • Ability to translate customer account history into opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
  • Experience of working in an environment which conforms to management standards, such as ISO9001. Knowledge of CRM software (or equivalent) and MS Office, (MS Excel in particular)
  • Problem solving with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly relating to data entry
  • Committed to ongoing learning / training to build knowledge and understanding Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver projects and answer enquiries on time Good level of education
