Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of Swansea?
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to assist with the movement, loading, and unloading of event materials and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to transport event materials and equipment within the warehouse and event venues.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking as required.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual handling tasks and keeping work areas clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Valid RTITB Counterbalance Forklift licence.
- Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work either day shift (Monday to Friday, 8am start) or night shift (Monday to Friday, 10pm start) as required.
Shift patterns & pay:
- Day shift - 8am start - £12.50 per hour.
- Night shift - 10pm start - £13.00 per hour.
Additional Benefits & Requirements
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
