The Best Connection are currently looking for Process Operators for a company in Bordon.
Hours: 42.5 hours (Mon-Thurs - 07:30 to 17:30 and Fri - 07:30 to 12:15)
Pay: £11.44 - £13.82 p/h (Depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production of moulded rubber components and / or assembly’s in-line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), quality standards, output rates and methods statements of the Company. A full understanding and application of the Company Procedures & Product Quality Standards is paramount.
- To assist Management coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
- Working with management and your colleagues to ensure departmental KPI’s are achieved and wherever possible exceeded. Responsible to meet production KPI goals
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements as stipulated within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’)
- Hand trimming, material preparation and / or finishing processes in-line with SOP’ and output rates.
- Control & Safe use of hand-tools, power-tools & automated machines in line with all Health & Safety requirements including all appropriate training.
- Accurate recording / communication of production data. Complete production paper work in line with Company policies and quality system requirements.
- Loading and transport of material / components / finished goods
- Involvement / participate in team projects & process improvement initiatives. Work closely with other departments implementing best practice “LEAN” techniques.
- Ensure a clean & safe working environment for all employees.
- Training will be given.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Previous Manufacturing experience no essential, but experience working in an Industrial sector is, full training will be given.
- Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and detail oriented
- Strong ability to read and interpret written work instructions & drawings
- A team player and self-starter
- Happy to do heavy lifting
- Good time keeping
- Highly motivated and flexible
