Driver's Mate

🚛 The Best Connection is currently recruiting Drivers Mates to join a well-established client based in Chepstow. This exciting opportunity offers a long-term ongoing role with the potential to become permanent after a qualifying period. No prior experience is required as full training and induction will be provided.

As a Drivers Mate, you will play a crucial role in assisting the driver with deliveries. This customer-facing position requires manual handling and providing assistance with directions. Your support will contribute to efficient and smooth delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

📦 Assisting the Driver: Aid the driver in loading and unloading deliveries.
🤝 Customer-Facing Role: Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
💪 Manual Handling: Handle packages and goods safely and efficiently.
🗺 Assisting with Directions: Provide support to the driver with navigating routes.

Hours and Pay:

⌚ Monday to Friday: 07:00 AM to 17:15 PM
💰 £11.44 per hour
