Class 1 Tramper Driver - Immediate Start Available

The Best Connection is actively recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for a well-established client based in Eggborough. This is an ongoing opportunity with immediate starts available for the right candidates.

This role involves nationwide deliveries, pulling continental curtainsider ferry trailers across the UK. If you're looking for consistent work, reliable hours, and the chance to start straight away, this is an excellent opportunity.

The Role

• Nationwide trunking work across the UK
• Delivering and collecting trailers from customer sites and ports
• Reloading trailers for onward delivery
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Completing daily vehicle and trailer checks
• Maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle
• Complying with all tachograph, driver hours, and road safety regulations

Requirements

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence (minimum 1 year's experience for insurance purposes)
• Valid Digi Card and CPC Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive rules
• Previous general haulage experience
• Port experience desirable but not essential

Pay & Benefits

• £16.00 per hour
• £26.00 per night out
• Minimum 9 hours guaranteed per shift
• Weekend work available with enhanced rates
• Ongoing, steady work
• Immediate start available
