Class 1 (CE) HGV Day Driver - Monday to Friday

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK logistics provider for a Class 1 (CE) HGV Day Driver based near Eggborough, East Yorkshire.

Our client delivers tailored logistics solutions for a major manufacturer supplying drywall products to the construction sector and related retailers across the UK.

Role Overview

• Multi-drop deliveries (typically up to 3 per day) to construction sites and trade stockists
• Full trailer work
• Monday to Friday day shifts
• Early starts (approximately 05:00)
• Occasional nights out may be required, agreed in advance

Pay & Benefits

• £16.25 per hour
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per day
• 45-minute unpaid break

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum of 9 penalty points (minor offences only)
• No DD, DR, CD, or TT99 endorsements
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience in the UK
• Good communication and sound knowledge of UK road networks

Successful applicants will be required to complete online registration, and pass a client assessment and induction prior to starting.
