Class 1 HGV Drivers - £16-£17ph- Immediate starts!

About the Role

Our client is a well-established transport and logistics company with a strong reputation for delivering reliable haulage services across the UK. Operating a modern fleet and working with a wide range of customers, they offer stable, ongoing work and a supportive working environment.

They are currently looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a variety of roles, including Tramping, Day Driving, general haulage, and tanker work. This is a great opportunity to join a professional operation that values its drivers and provides consistent work throughout the year.

Pay Rates:

• Days: £16.00 per hour + £25 night out pay when Tramping/Night outs
• Nights: £17.00 per hour

Shift Times:

• Day Shift: Starts at 07:00 AM
• Night Shift: Starts at 15:00/17:00 PM

Location: Bridgwater

Key Responsibilities

• Class 1 (C+E) driving duties including trunking, deliveries, or collections
• Complete daily vehicle checks and follow DVSA standards
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
• Communicate with transport planners and depot staff
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience in Class 1 driving (if required)
• Knowledge of UK road networks and tachograph rules
• Positive attitude and focus on safety
