Job: Class 2 Events Driver

Location: Crawley

Pay: £17.00

The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2 Drivers for temporary & Weekend Work for our client in the Crawley.  You’ll be assisting with the delivery of events equipment for our prestigious client for a number of different occasions from private hire events, corporate and in some cases weddings. 

The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, Digi tacho and CPC card.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday: 06:00 starts being the earliest
Weekends with 06:00 starts being the earliest.

Rate of Pay:£17.00

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Events Driver:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Crawley to various locations the UK. Assisting with lumping, bumping and setting up events equipment with assistance of drivers mate and events crew. 
• Help to load & unload the vehicle with assistance of drivers mates.
• Heavy lifting is required as you’ll be setting up various heavy equipment. 
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels; safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely interact with the events co-ordinators and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 2 Events Driver:

Category C Licence.
CPC.
Digi Tacho.

Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
