HGV Driver

Our client who is a major British multinational clothing, footwear and home products distribution company based in Hatfield, is looking to strengthen its busy delivery team. They are looking for Class 2 drivers to help assist the operational needs of the business on rotation shifts 5 or 4 days over the business of Monday to Sunday. Minimum experience required is 12 months. Must be flexible and available to work weekends due to the rotating pattern.

Main duties will include:

• Double manned deliveries with drivers mates
• Managing the delivery process from site to customer, including paperwork signed off from deliveries
• Must have experience with home deliveries
• Must have experience driving in London
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure, with vehicle checks completed
• Assisting drivers mate to offload the products from vehicle
• Positive manner as delivering to clients and customers
• Must be physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved

Shifts:

• Start times vary from 05:00am or 06:00am
• Shifts pattern: 5 days on 2 days off then 4 days on 2 days off followed by 4 days on 2 days

Pay Rates:

• Pay - £16.59 per hour worked
• After 48 hours worked, pay is £24.88 per hour worked
