The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Tameside.

Job Details

• Position: Shot Blaster
• Location: Tameside
• Pay Rate: £17.29 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday
• Working Hours: 2:00pm - Midnight
• Immediate Starts Available

The Role

Duties will include:

• Operating shot blasting machinery
• Preparing metal products and components for finishing
• Loading and moving materials safely around the workshop
• Carrying out visual quality inspections
• Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must hold either:

• a valid Stacker Truck Licence, or
• a valid Overhead Crane Licence

Holding both licences would be highly advantageous.

Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
