Higher pay rate is achieved by: Working Overtime

The Best Connection are currently seeking Glass Cutters for a Blue Chip Manufacturer and distributor of Glass in the Bradford area.

Hours of work Monday to Friday rotating 6-2 and 2-10

***Candidates must pass a drug and alcohol screening test before they will be accepted for this role***

Responsibilities of the Glass Cutter

  • Manual & machine cutting of glass using an automatic glass cutting table

  • Toughening of flat glass

  • Glass crane operating (full training will be provided)

  • Use of manual hand tools

  • Lifting heavy glass products

Requirements of the Glass Cutter

  • Ability of glass handling as well as manual and automatic glass cutting

  •  Strong awareness of Health and Safety and ability to adhere to all practices

  • Work well within a Team

  • Ability to work to target.

  • Heavy lifting.
