The Best Connection is currently hiring Garden/Ground Maintenance Operatives for ongoing contracts with our client in Rochester, Medway. This role presents the opportunity to transition into permanent positions for successful candidates. While prior experience is advantageous for this application!!!
**Responsibilities:**
As a Ground Maintenance Operative, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team in the Medway Towns. Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the maintenance of green spaces, including weeding, strimming, planting, and grass cutting.
**Requirements:**
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence with no disqualifications and a maximum of 6 points for insurance purposes.
- Own transport for commuting to and from the site.
**Working Conditions:**
- Year-round opportunities are available; the work is not confined to specific seasons.
- Initial roles are ongoing weekly temporary positions, with permanent positions after a successful trial period, accompanied by a salary increase.
- Full-time opportunities are open for all candidates.
**Salary and Benefits:**
- £11.44 per hour per with overtime rates for weekends paid at time and a half and double time.
- After 37.5 hours Monday to Friday £17.16 per hour
- Saturdays £17.16 per hour
- Sundays and Bank Holidays £22.88
