The Best Connection is working with our client who is a national food warehousing and distribution company based in Durham. Due to increased volumes they have an immediate requirement for experienced Order Pickers.
Duties will include:
- Picking stock using a voice activated headset
- Preparing orders for despatch
- Loading & unloading vehicles
- General housekeeping
- LLOP certificate required
- FLT Reach would be an advantage but not essential
- Food background would be an advantage but not essential
Previous warehouse and picking experience is essential however our client would accept in-house LLOP, FLT Reach or PPT truck licences as they will update these certificates.
Hours of work:
- Sunday – Thursday
- 16.00 start – job and finish
- 40 hour working week paid
Pay rate:
The roles are being offered on an ongoing temporary basis however there are permanent opportunities for the right candidates after a qualifying period.
