Location: Glasgow Airport

Pay: £12.92 per hour

Hours: 25 hours per week (approx. 5.5 hours per shift)

Earliest Start: 03:00

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off rotation

Contract: Ongoing until October

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Passenger Assistance Agents to support our client based at Glasgow Airport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy airport environment, assisting passengers who require additional support and helping ensure their journey through the airport is smooth, safe, and comfortable.

The Role

As a Customer Service Agent, you will play an important part in supporting passengers who require assistance throughout the airport.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting passengers with additional support needs around the airport and to/from the aircraft
• Greeting passengers and understanding the assistance they require
• Clearly explaining the airport process to ensure passengers feel comfortable and informed
• Assisting passengers through check-in and security procedures
• Collecting and returning wheelchairs around the airport terminal
• Working with airport teams to ensure passengers receive the support they need

There may also be additional duties involved in the role which we will discuss with you during the recruitment process.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have excellent customer service skills
• Are polite, professional, and approachable
• Have a passion for helping people
• Possess strong communication skills (written and spoken)
• Are reliable and able to work early morning shifts

Requirements

Due to working within the airport environment, the following will be required:

• 5 years of references (our dedicated team will assist in obtaining these)
• Willingness to apply for a DBS check - paid for by us
• Completion of a GSAT (General Security Awareness Training) - paid for by us
