Full job description
The Best Connection Oldham are currently recruiting a Machine Operative for our client in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area.
A strong background in Machine Operation is essential to apply and we can only consider applications that indicate you've this experience.
Temp to perm role on offer - but can be via Best Connection for 12 months before transferring.
Lots of further training on offer, so you must have a thirst to develop your skill set.

Hours
- Monday-Thursday 0730-1715
Pay rate
- - 12.94 per hour with - 19.41 on Fridays & Saturdays until 1pm, After 1pm - 25.88 p/h
Responsibilities of the machine Operative
- Operating a 6 axis wickman machine - training given
- Basic Mechanical work
- Machine operating
- Measuring components
- Quality Control
- Elements of manual handling so physical fitness required
Requirements of the Machine Operative
- Attention to detail.
- Ideally mechanically minded
- Strong machine background essential
- Recent checkable work history
- Repetitive duties during training period
- Must be able to travel to Bredbury in the future for work.

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
