📅 Weekend Rates:

• Saturdays: £22.23 per hour
• Sundays & Bank Holidays: £29.64 per hour

About the Role

The Best Connection is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established distribution client covering multiple sites across Barnsley, Doncaster, Glass Houghton, and Sheffield.

This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible working patterns, offering weekday and weekend shifts with a reliable and long-standing client.

You'll mainly be completing multi-drop home deliveries, with occasional requirements to drive 7.5T vehicles depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre- and post-vehicle checks
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to residential customers
• Maintain clear communication with the transport team
• Ensure all paperwork and timesheets are accurate and submitted on time
• Email weekly paperwork by end of shift on Saturdays
• Deliver a professional and reliable service at all times
• Represent both The Best Connection and the client positively

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Strong timekeeping and professionalism
