The Best Connection are recruiting for several Driver's Mates to join the UK's leading kitchen supply and distribution company. They are dedicated to providing high-quality delivery services to customers.
Driver's Mate
- Barton-Upon-Humber
- Must have transport/local to Barton
- Candidates must agree to DBS and Drug/Alcohol testing prior to employment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the delivery and collection of goods to/from customers.
- Help load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all items are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the driver and customers regarding delivery times and updates.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Full UK driving license is not required, but helpful for occasional duties.
