Class 2 Driver - Waste Collection (Commercial & Domestic)

Location: Near Penrith

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Occasional weekend work available

Pay Rates

Standard Rate: £15.85 per hour

Overtime (after 8 hours): £22.19 per hour

Bank Holidays: £31.70 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join a well-established waste collection team based near Penrith. This role involves both commercial and domestic waste collection and offers consistent weekday hours with excellent overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out commercial and domestic waste collections safely and efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Following all company health & safety procedures
• Providing a professional service to customers and the public
• Ensuring routes are completed on time

Requirements

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous waste collection experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards
