The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for Counter Balance FLT Operatives to work for our client based in Stanley, County Durham. Our client is one of the UK’s largest UK’s leading importers and wholesalers of alcoholic beverages.

This role is temp to perm for the right candidate. 

The role:

• Operating Counter Balance FLT to perform standard warehouse tasks
• Stacking pallets of finished and wrapped product three high 
• Loading delivery vehicles, picking stock and general house keeping
• Navigating through small spaces and tight areas
• Abide to company Health and Safety policies 

The candidate:

• A Counter Balance FLT licence is essential (in-house and out of date licenses are considered)
• As the product is fragile, FLT experience is essential 
• Proven track record of operating CounterBalance FLT in fast paced environments 
• Able to work under own initiative or part of a team
• The client is open to considering in-house and out of date FLT licenses 

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• Two shift pattern, weekly rotation
• 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
• £13.19 per hour flat rate
