CNC Programmer

Location: Atherstone
Pay: £20.00 per hour
Hours: 4-day week (39 hours)

• Monday - Wednesday: 16:00 - 02:00
• Thursday: 15:00 - 00:00

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering company in Atherstone. This CNC Programmer role is within the manufacturing industry, offering a late shift pattern, competitive pay, and long-term stability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer to secure ongoing work in Atherstone within the manufacturing industry, working on a variety of precision-engineered components.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
• Online programming using Heidenhain control systems
• Working with universal bed-type milling machines and heads
• Machining components from stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing parts to tight tolerances and specifications
• Completing your own quality inspections
• Safely using overhead cranes where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
• Experience with Heidenhain control systems
• Background working with medium to large fabrications and castings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
