PRESS BRAKE SETTER/OPERATIVES NEEDED! 

The Best Connection is now recruiting for Press brake Operatives to join our prestigious client in Banbury!

We’re looking for candidates with a great work ethic who are ready for ongoing opportunities and have the potential for permanent positions after a successful trial period.

Pay Rate:

• Competitive pay rate

Shift Hours:

• Monday - Thursday:  07:00-16:00 
• Fridays: 07:00-14:00

Responsibilities of the role

• Quality checking products 
• Pressing, inspection and tolerance checking of both standard and bespoke components
• Assisting with general manufacturing activities when necessary 
• The programming, setting  and adjustments of the brake press to achieve components the forming in a timely manner 

Required Skills & Experience

• Must possess previous experience of working in a similar position 
• Familiarity with Amada punch presses (or similar systems)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings
• Experience in the metal fabrication industry (preferred)
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Pays high attention to detail and has strong communication skills
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must have own transport
