Location: Aylesbury
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive + Company Benefits
Overtime: Paid at Time and a Half
Holiday: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Pay rate: £18.29/h
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated HGV HIAB Driver to join our team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for safely driving and operating HGV HIAB vehicles, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles.
- Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites.
- Operate the HIAB crane for loading and unloading.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
- Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Report any vehicle defects and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth operations.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining high standards of service and conduct.
What We Need From You
- Must have a HGV 1 or 2 Driver Licence with HIAB experience.
- Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential.
- A good understanding of current regulations, including EU driver hours, Working Time Directive, and Driver’s Tachograph restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
