Contract: Full time

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Credit Controller/Finance Administrator to support their operation initially on a 6 month part time contract with the potential for extension. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Generate and send Customer Statements 
  • Contact customers by phone or email to follow up aged debt 
  • Perform credit checks and set credit limits in consultation with the Director
  •  Produce weekly aged debt reports for management.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to queries promptly.
  •  Update and maintain accurate customer account information.
  •  Support audit preparations by providing relevant credit and financial data.
  • Assist finance manager with data collation and analysis for monthly, quarterly and year end reports. 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in credit control and/or accounting.
  •  Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting software. 
  • Solid Excel and data entry skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Comfortable dealing with customers and cross-functional teams

The pay rate for the role is £14.00 per hour, working two days per week adding up to 14 hours in total. There is the possibility of having the contract extended after the initial contract length.
