The Best Connection are delighted to recruit for our well established client based in Radcliffe (M26). Easily accessible by public transport from Bury and surrounding areas.

This role will include picking goods for supermarkets in a CHILLED/FREEZER environment using a scanner and pump truck - You must have previous warehouse experience in the same or similar role. This is a physically demanding role, average of 25000 steps per shift and some of the items can be heavy. Will be using pallet trucks, pump trucks and ped ops.

The shifts that are available are 0600-1800 on a 2 on 2 off then 3 on 3 off  Shift pattern (working 7 shifts from 14). There is a 10% uplift for working over the weekend.

With additional hours available at overtime rates after 45 hours.

YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE AND PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST IN ORDER TO PROCEED WITH THE INDUCTION.

A full induction and 3 days training in health and safety, safe systems, and processes will be provided; a written test will also need to be passed in order to commence the induction. As such numeracy and literacy skills are important.

This is a temporary to permanent position
