Drivers Mate / White Goods Installation Assistant

📍 Location: BL5 Area

🕒 Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 3 days off

⏰ Hours: 07:00 - 19:00

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to work alongside a van driver delivering and installing white goods to customers' homes and commercial premises throughout the local area.

This is a physically demanding role and would suit someone who enjoys being active, provides excellent customer service, and is confident working in customers' homes.

Duties Include:

• Assisting the driver with the delivery of white goods to residential and commercial properties
• Carrying and manoeuvring heavy appliances, some weighing over 25kg
• Installing and setting up appliances in customers' homes
• Delivering outstanding face-to-face customer service
• Ensuring products are delivered safely and on time
• Maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times

Requirements:

• Previous face-to-face customer service experience is essential
• Comfortable working in customers' homes and interacting with the public
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
• Able to work the 5-on, 3-off shift pattern
• Willing to undergo a DBS check before starting work
