The Best Connection are recruiting multiple Cat B Van Driver positions to work with their client on Team Valley, Gateshead. This is a multi-drop parcel delivery role and a great opportunity for a reliable Cat B Van Driver, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

The role:

• Loading the vehicle at the start of the shift
• Using handheld scanners and a route planner, you will deliver parcels in the local area as a Cat B Van Driver
• Expected to work at a fast pace as it is high volume (100+ drops per day)
• Efficient and accurate delivery of products to every customer
• This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing both the Client and the Best Connection
• Potential to become permanent for the right Cat B Van Driver

The candidate:

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• A DBS check is required
• Multi-drop experience is essential
• Smart appearance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude to customer care

Hours of work and pay:

• Monday to Friday pattern
• Start time from 08:30am
• £12.21 per hour flat rate
• 8 hours minimum
• Opportunity to take additional shifts on weekends
