HGV Class 2 Driver - Ely

£16.50/hr + Weekly Bonus | Paid Overtime Available

Ongoing, full-time opportunity with a well-established UK supplier!

We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client, a leading distributor of internal doors and related products. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for a stable, long-term role within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

You will be responsible for delivering goods to builders' merchants, trade sites, and residential addresses.

The Role:

• Start times: Varying (early starts expected)
• Monday to Friday (39 hours basic)
• Regular overtime available
• Average 2 nights out per week
• Ongoing, permanent position

Pay Rates:

• £16.50 per hour
• Weekly bonus scheme
• Paid overtime

What You'll Be Doing:

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring loads are secure before departure
• Delivering goods safely and on time
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting with delivery of products to ground floor rooms where required
• Keeping the vehicle clean and well maintained

What We're Looking For:

• Full EU Driving Licence (minimum 3 years)
• No more than 3 penalty points (no recent disqualifications)
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to complete nights out when required
