Trade Counter Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining customer service, sales, and hands-on warehouse duties.

This position is offered on a temp-to-permanent basis, providing long-term career potential and future salary progression for the right candidate.

The Role

This is a well-rounded, fast-paced position where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service face-to-face, via phone, and email
  • Supporting sales activity and ensuring customers receive a high level of service
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders within the warehouse
  • General trade counter support and administration
  • Using Microsoft systems for day-to-day tasks

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write clear and professional emails
  • Comfortable using Excel and basic IT systems
  • A hands-on approach with willingness to support across departments

Salary & Hours

  • £12.82 per hour
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • 1 hour unpaid break
