The Best Connection recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers for Temp to Perm with our client based in Newton Aycliffe. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for 50 hour contract with no tramping required  with a reputable operator.

Drivers will be occasionally required to support their Class 2 (C) operations however will still be paid Class 1 (C+E) rate.

A full induction will be given dependant on experience of up to 2 weeks.

Job Duties

• Curtainside trailer operations
• Ratchet strapping
• Conducting vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring load security and delivery accuracy
• Adhering to legal driving standards, The Highway Code, and company safety policies

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Licence
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months commercial UK Class 1 experience
• Maximum of 6 points (No DR/DI)

Hours of work:

• Shift start times of 07:30am
• Monday to Friday

Pay Rate:

• £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday
