The Best Connection expands Canada Footprint to Richmond Hill

Flexible workforce solutions business, The Best Connection, has expanded its footprint in Canada with the opening of a new branch in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The location, which is known locally as The Smart Place for Business, was chosen to address the robust demand for flexible staffing in the driving, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, logistics and warehouse sectors in the Greater Toronto Area.

The award-winning community of Richmond Hill has a population of 206,883 that speaks 126 languages. More than 4,800 companies employing over 73,000 jobs have made this region their home and benefit from its prime location in the centre of the Greater Toronto Area. The Best Connection aims to capitalise on the demand created by the large number of industrial sites that have sprouted over recent years.

'The company's expansion in the region reflects Richmond Hill's economic confidence and growing prosperity. Temporary workers play an important role in supporting the operational challenges that success brings and addressing this balance is what we do every day. The Canada operation has been moulded on the customer engagement model we have evolved over many years in the UK and this is translating very well in the Canada market,' explains Andrew Sweeney, Chief Executive, The Best Connection.

Canada has been a successful venture for The Best Connection. For the past five years the company has expanded its network to six locations and increased its annual revenues year on year. The Best Connection is now a well-recognised brand in the sector.

The Richmond Hill team, which comprises Kathleen Fecteau, Lisa Wong, Josh Vanderheym, Elliot Mendoza and Mark Bowley, are very excited about developing new business relationships in the area.

Across its UK and North American network of 92 branches, The Best Connection employs 875 staff and has specialised in its chosen sectors for almost 30 years.
