The Best Connection is currently seeking Powder Coaters for a metal fabricating company based in the BB5 area.
Responsibilities of the Powder Coater
- Preparing surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens.
- Relevant training may be given if required.
- Detecting defects and addressing any issues with the quality of the products.
- Carry out an inspection of the final products to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements of the Powder Coater
- Attention to detail.
- Wearing correct PPE.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
If you have previous experience as a Powder Coater you may be eligible for a higher rate of pay. Relevant training is provided to those who do not have previous experience.
