WOOD MACHINIST REQUIRED!

Roles available are Edge bander operatives, Beam saw operatives & woodworking CNC Operatives
Duties can include:
Set up and operate woodworking machinery, which may include CNC machines, Edge banders, or Beam Saws, to fabricate wooden components.
Select and prepare wood materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.
Inspect finished components for defects, accuracy, and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Days of work are 06:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday & 06:00-16:00 on a Friday.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Wood Machinist with expertise in operating woodworking machinery.
Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment, including CNC machines, Edge banders, or beam saws.
Strong knowledge of wood materials and their properties.
Ability to read and interpret woodworking plans and drawings.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality woodwork.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
