🚛 Class 1 HGV Drivers Wanted

The Best Connection Scunthorpe is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with our client transporting frozen chicken in refrigerated trailers.

💷 Pay Rates

• £16.00 per hour - Day Rate
• £17.50 per hour - Night Rate
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift

📅 Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday or
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Start times vary between 15:00 and 18:00
• Starting Monday 03/08/2026
• Ongoing work for a minimum of 8 weeks

🚚 The Role

• Driving modern fridge trailers
• Transporting frozen chicken
• Simple trunking work between Scunthorpe and Alfreton
• No complicated multi-drop deliveries
• Regular, straightforward runs
• Consistent work and hours available

✅ Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
• No DR, DD or DU endorsements
• Reliable and professional attitude
