HGV Driver

Our client based in Saltley require LGV C (HGV Class 2) drivers for immediate starts that are on-going throughout 2024. Possible full time opportunities. Newly passed drivers are welcome. Supportive training. Duties involve deliveries to high street bakeries. Choice of start times available. Safe and secure parking with excellent facilities on site with our high street brand bakery.

Shift Patterns ;

• Start times between 22:00 and 01:30 Monday to Sunday (as per shift rota)
• Start times between 11:00 and 14:30 Monday to Sunday (as per shift rota)

Hourly Pay (up to 12 weeks) PAYE ;

• Monday to Friday, £13.00 p/h up to 8 hours worked,£19.50 p/h after 8 hours worked
• Saturday, £19.50 p/h for all hours worked, minimum of 8 hours per shift
• Sunday and Bank Holiday, £26.00 p/h for all hours worked, minimum of 8 hours per shift

Hourly Pay (Pay Parity/same as full time drivers after 12 weeks working on the contract) PAYE ;

• Pay parity, £15.10 p/h for the first 39 hours worked
• Pay parity, £22.65 p/h after working 39 hours
• Pay parity, £30.20 p/h when working on Sunday as an over time, minimum of 8 hours applies.​
