The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator for our Wolverhampton based client.

Pay rate is £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Working hours are 09:00 till 16:30 Monday to Thursday

As an Accounts Administrator your duties will include:

• Using Sage 50 daily for financial administration, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, invoicing, payment processing, and account maintenance
• Posting and reconciling transactions within Sage 50
• Processing supplier payments, customer receipts, and cash allocations
• Producing reports and maintaining accurate financial records using Sage 50
• Assisting with month-end processes, bank reconciliations, and VAT administration
• Managing daily office administration duties
• Answering and directing telephone calls professionally
• Processing customer orders and enquiries
• Preparing and issuing sales invoices
• Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate records
• Creating and managing delivery notes
• Credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments and maintaining customer accounts
• Supporting payroll administration where required
• Welcoming visitors and handling reception duties
• General filing, document control, and office support

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an office administration or accounts administration role
• Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting Software (essential)
• Experience with invoicing, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator with good customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
