CMM Inspector - Evening Shift

4-Day Week | Monday - Thursday | Evening Shift

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced CMM Inspector on behalf of our prestigious manufacturing client operating within the precision engineering sector

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled quality team within a modern machining environment, working with complex, high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of precision machined components
• Operate CMM machinery using Aberlink software
• Generate and run CMM programs in CNC mode
• Conduct manual inspection using verniers, micrometres, bore mics, gauges and callipers
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
• Compile detailed inspection reports and document non-conformances
• Produce CofC's, ISIRs and FAIRs
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to maintain quality standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company quality procedures

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience in CMM Inspection
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Experience using Aberlink software
• Ability to generate CMM programs
• Competent using a range of manual measuring equipment
• Experience within precision machining/manufacturing environments

Desirable:

• Manual handling or lifting equipment training
• Experience working within Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace or Defence sectors
