Injection Moulding Setter

Location: Wolverhampton

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30pm

Pay: £16.49 - £19.64 depenedent on shift

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join our Wolverhampton-based client due to increasing demand and continued expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced setter looking to join a busy and growing manufacturing operation, working on a Monday to Friday day shift.

The Role

As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating injection moulding machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently and products meet the required quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Setting and operating injection moulding machines
• Working with Engel machines
• Setting and working with de-moulding robots
• Working with complex mould tools
• Handling and processing a variety of materials
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production
• Identifying and resolving production issues
• Troubleshooting machinery, moulding and quality problems
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are maintained
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy manufacturing environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes
• Experience working with Engel injection moulding machines
• Experience with de-moulding robots
• Experience working with complex mould tools
• Good knowledge of injection moulding materials
• Strong quality control and inspection skills
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
