The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our well-known and prestigious client based in Scunthorpe, working across chilled/frozen, ambient, and cage work on an ongoing basis.

You’ll be delivering ambient or frozen goods to convenience stores, unloading cages filled with goods upon arrival. There’s no need to split the cages on-site – this is handled by store staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of chilled, frozen, and ambient goods
• Cage deliveries to retail and distribution sites
• Accurate and safe handling of loads
• Adhering to all relevant transport legislation and company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2 years experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points – NO DR10, CD10, IN10
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Some handballing involved due to cage work
• Punctual, professional, and safety-focused
