The Best Connection Newport is currently looking for experienced 3.5T drivers to join our nationally recognised client in Rogerstone. Specialising in home furniture deliveries, our client requires drivers to deliver furniture directly to the room of choice within residential properties. You will be part of a two-person team, ensuring each delivery is completed efficiently and with care. This is a long-term, ongoing position with the potential for permanent employment after a successful qualifying period.
As an experienced 3.5T Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting furniture to residential properties, delivering items to the specified room, and providing excellent customer service. Attention to detail and professionalism are key in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5T van for home furniture deliveries.
- Work closely with a teammate to ensure efficient handling of goods.
- Deliver furniture to the room of choice within residential properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with 3.5T entitlement.
- Previous experience in home deliveries or a similar role.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of good time management.
Hours & Pay:
- £12.30 per hour PAYE, Monday to Friday.
- Start times from 06:00am.
