Car Mechanic – Ongoing  Role | Excellent Opportunity 
Location: Grimsby

Hours: Full-Time (Mon–Fri 8am to 5pm

Recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing automotive service centre, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Car Mechanic to join a professional, customer-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a stable and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out necessary repairs
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance across a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Conduct MOT repairs and pre-checks (if qualified)
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in line with health & safety guidelines

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
• Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• MOT tester certification (desirable, not essential)
