🚚 Class 1 Tramper Driver - Fridge Work

📍 Location: Grimsby

💰 Pay Rates

✅ £15.50 per hour - Weekends

✅ £23.25 per hour - Bank Holidays

✅ £25.00 per Night Out

🕓 Schedule

📅 Full-time | Monday to Friday | Ongoing Work

🚛 Mix of local and nationwide refrigerated deliveries

🌙 2-3 nights out per week (varies depending on route requirements)

📦 The Role

The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a busy refrigerated logistics operation based in Grimsby.

This role involves delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK using modern fridge trailers. You'll benefit from a mixture of local and long-distance runs, with regular overnight stays and consistent work throughout the year.

🎯 Requirements

✔ Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) experience

✔ Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

✔ Maximum 6 points (No DR, IN10 or DG endorsements)

✔ Fridge trailer experience preferred

✔ Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours & WTD regulations

✔ Flexible approach to overnight stays

🚛 Responsibilities

🔹 Delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses nationwide

🔹 Monitoring and maintaining load temperatures

🔹 Completing delivery paperwork accurately

🔹 Reporting defects and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
