Class 1 HGV Driver – Night Trunking to Hubs – Immediate Start

Night Shifts – Typically 18:00–06:00

The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) Night Drivers for our client operating out of the Hailsham area. This role involves night trunking to regional hubs and is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Completing night trunk runs to and from regional distribution hubs
- Operating Class 1 articulated vehicles (mostly box or curtain side trailers)
- Ensuring timely, safe, and secure loading/unloading – typically no handball
- Carrying out pre and post-use vehicle checks
- Keeping accurate records using digital tachographs and delivery paperwork
- Maintaining a clean and professional driving style and appearance
- Reporting any delays, defects, or incidents promptly
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC Certificate and Digi Tacho Card
- Experience with night trunking or hub-to-hub work preferred
- A good level of spoken and written English
- Right to work in the UK
